LAS VEGAS AND SAN JOSE, CA—October 3, 2006—Secure
Computing Corporation (Nasdaq: SCUR), a leader in enterprise gateway security,
today announced that it is kicking off its inaugural user conference and industry
forum, Messaging Security 2006, in Las Vegas, Oct. 4-6 at the Mandalay Bay Resort
& Casino. Messaging Security 2006 aims to create a collaborative community
of security and risk management executives, managers and administrators from
all types of organizations to learn and share effective techniques and best
practices with other like-minded professionals.
The conference comes on the heels of the recent merger of CipherTrust and Secure

for introducing the new Secure Computing, an organization with unrivaled expertise
in enterprise gateway security and a single, world-class partner for products
and services to address network and application security needs.
“We are thrilled to
host the industry’s first event focused solely on messaging security particularly
at such an exciting time in our company’s history,” said Jay Chaudhry,
vice chairman and chief strategy officer of Secure Computing. “What started
out as a vision of bringing together our customers and providing them a venue
to learn more about security trends and how to make the most of the products
they’re using today, has evolved into a truly industry forum featuring
a broad spectrum of speakers, sponsors and attendees. Messaging Security 2006
enables Secure Computing, our technology and channel partners, and our customers
and prospects to participate in interactive discussions and strategy planning
sessions about future security threats, trends, applications and initiatives
to keep messaging infrastructures safe.”
